Alien - Dynamic Lighting Study

I wanted to study and work on my understanding of lighting, color theory, and composition through values. I took some advice from my peers regarding using an existing scene instead of worrying about also making the art that I want to light, so I grabbed a fantastic scene made by Sungwoo Lee.

I had some key goals I wanted to tackle with this project;
- Push my understanding of dynamic lighting and advanced reflections.
- Achieve an aesthetic inspired by the Alien movies, both the mood and general tone the movies portray.
- Experiment with using values to control the composition
- Achieve something Taylor Brandenburger said on the podcast, trying to invoke the 5 senses through the image.

I am not sure if I have achieved all of these, but it has highlighted how big of a knowledge gap there is when it comes to that stage of creating environments and I plan to spend more time learning more about this skill set going forward. :)
